PEACH is a solution that you own, understand and can control
At SR, we identified the need to offer toplists for podcast genres in our app, as we know that popularity is a good driver in guiding listeners to appreciated content.
However, we lacked integrations to incorporate the required data. Instead of building from scratch, we realised that the PEACH infrastructure already existed, providing data ingestion, processing, and API endpoints. Leveraging PEACH, we efficiently implemented toplists for podcast genres in our app and web platforms in just a few days.
PEACH can also be used for solving "simple" technical tasks that yet deliver great value to the end user.
We integrated PEACH into our Deutschlandfunk App in order to add personalized content to our service.
PEACH is a good fit for us for many reasons: From a technical perspective, we get a modern tech stack, a real-time tracking solution not relying on third parties and a preview tool for recommendations useful when collaborating with editors. From a management perspective, PEACH shines with its transparency and adjustability, a short time to market and a community of European broadcasters with an established mode of collaboration.
We use PEACH for various use cases in the ARD Audiothek. It was an easy and straight-forward task integrating it into our product with reasonable defaults and decent baseline algorithms. With the built in A/B Testing tooling we were even able to compare the first PEACH recommendations with the legacy system we had in place before.
Since then we use A/B tests next to offline experiments intensively for optimizing existing use-cases and bringing new ones into production. The preview tool 'spectrum' is very handy for showcasing experiments to stakeholders and even for setting up internal surveys for qualitative evaluations of those experiments. Not to mention the friendly yet effective hands-on support by the PEACH team and the valuable collaboration and exchange with other members participating in the project.
Recommendation systems is a must thing for every modern media portal. You need to enrich your stories, videos and etc with additional information which is relevant to the user or relevant by each story content. PEACH brilliantly does that!
This is one of the systems which is fully transparent, gives you what you need and you have an extremely friendly support team on top of it. Simply 10/10
UR have been using Peach for a while now, and it has proven to be an excellent tool for simplifying complex tasks.
Our goal is to deliver personalized and related content through the lens of public service. We aim to provide our users with a diverse yet relevant and engaging experience. Unlike other recommender systems, Peach offers a unique perspective - the public service perspective. This makes it an ideal solution for us.
Peach is not a "black box" solution. It allows us to see and collaborate freely to determine which recommendations best suit a certain need. Write the code ourselves and A/B test new solutions for our users. The Peach team is also incredibly helpful and has the skills to take our ideas to new heights.
In today's digital age, presenting relevant content to users is not an option, but an expectation. If we fail to meet our users' expectations, they are likely to opt for an alternative. Peach assists us in meeting these expectations, thereby ensuring user satisfaction. We can also see that Peach delivers, based on our CTR (click through rate) for personal recommendations that are very high in comparison with equivalent lists.
I had the opportunity to work with PEACH during my bachelor's thesis. As a student, I had worked with AWS SageMaker once during a semester project, and I distinctly remember feeling overwhelmed by the documentation and the numerous features. However, with PEACH, it was a delightful experience as it essentially simplified SageMaker without compromising functionality, and much more!
The platform manages to strike the right balance between simplicity and comprehensiveness. With PEACH, accessing all the necessary resources - from data to infrastructure and more - is just a simple function call away, making it incredibly convenient and efficient.
Moreover, the formidable team behind PEACH has made the learning curve much smoother, adding to the overall positive experience.
